let the mass of gold is m

mass of quartz is 15.9 - m

Now, for the volume of the rock

m/19300 + (15.9 - m)/2660 = 2.9 *10^-3

solving for m

m = 9.49 Kg

the mass of the gold in the rock is 9.49 Kg
