Explain the basic process of PCR. Include: what starting materials are required and what each of them does, tell me each of the steps in the PCR cycle and what the purpose is for each.

PCR stand for Polymerase Chain Reaction.This process was designed by K.Mullis....It is used for the amplification of gene of interest (~1 billion time).High temperature about 95°C is required for seperatios of the two strand of the target DNA and this step is called Denaturation..DNA primers bind to the end of the DNA strands at 40°C to 60°C and this step is called Annealing.Taq Polymerase from Thermus acquaticus(a thermophilic bacterium) and deoxyribonucleotides (as a raw material) used to synthesize complementary copy of each strand at 70°C and this step is called Extension.And finally we got an amplified material.
