SOLUTION:

Let X be the number of stations in a certain network. In this case it is 250 stations.

Then the numbers of sequences in a Walsh Table required (let us represent it as Y) should be ( Y = 2n ).

We have to take the n value such that Y is closest to X and greater than X.

So we should take n = 8 which gives Y = 28 = 256.

Hence the answer is Y=256.

NOTE: From these sequences we can use 250 of the sequences as chips for the network to suffice the purpose.
