Buffer solution is formed by the addition of weak acid and its conjugated strong base and vice versa.

1) We need to maintain the equilibrium between the acid HA and its conjugate base A- which in order requires the no pH value change in the solution.

2) Buffer solutions are used in our body in the blood in order to maintain the pH value in equilibrium, it also helps in maintain the equilibrium for pH in the case of protiens
