ANSWER : B. 11.3 degree F

EXPLANATION:

The mean is the average of the numbers.

It is easy to calculate: add up all the numbers, then divide by how many numbers there are.

In other words it is the sum divided by the count.

In our given dot grid:

The Temperatures recorded are 5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,and 19.

So the sum of all above temperature is 180

The number of days on which these temp recorded is 16

Therefore, by using above formula for Mean:

Mean Temp = Sum/Count = 180/16=11.25 round off = 11.3

ANSWER: The mean temperature during the period was 11.3 degree F.
