Answer #1

US: 1 broom = 9 microchips
00아 (0,90) 50+ (10, 0) 10 LO
Broom - x axis, microchip - y axis

Mexico: 1 microchip = 9 brooms

(0, 10) TO (90, 0) 100 0 20 40 60 80
Broom - x axis, microchip - y axis

Through trade, both the countries can consume brooms and microchip as specialisation will increase the production. US will import brooms and Mexico will import microchips and export the other item based on their competitive advantage.

US will produce 90 microchips
Mexico will produce 90 brooms

Both countries will consume 45 brooms and 45 micrchips

Trade will be US importing 45 brooms and exporting 45 microchips and the opposite for Mexico.
