Straight charges are fees allowed to physician that is about 100 dollars to 200dollars per visit. This fees includes payment of staff salary, medicine test etc. This straight charges offers a discount of 20 percent to the services.

Ucr is the amount of fees structured for medical services in a specific geographic area. It helps in determining the allowed amount.

Fee schedule is the list of fees for health care providers to pay doctors or other health care professionals.

Resource based relative value scale is used to identify the amount to be paid by health care providers to employees.

The advantages of this this form of payment over capitation includes, the physicians may acqire a specific amount irrespective of their geographical area. It gives a proper renumeration to the services rendered by the physician.

The disadvantage include it may bring only less profit to the management of health care institutions.
