He then moves the pencil in a lateral direction until reaching the mid-frontal plane of the body. Once there,he moves the pencil in a cephalic direction as far as he can go . from this region he moves slightly anteriorly and medially about 10cms to the sagittal plane. Surgeon end at medial plane or mid sagittal plane.

Surgeon start his pencil from central line than he moves to laterally until the midfrontal plane. Than moves his pencil anteriorly and medially through the sagittal plane.
