Human Resources Management summary of 200+ Words on the topic - Diversity in the Workplace: Include the following section?

SOLUTIONS - Suggest consequences to the organization in the future if nothing is done differently and no actions are taken to address the causes of this problem? Recommend a more desirable state of affairs (behaviors)? Compare this state to what happens if no changes are made, and propose at least two action steps that will leverage the organization toward the more desirable state? Diversity in the Workplace :

Work force Diversity is an integral part of the contemporary organisations who really want to progress in the dynamic environment where changes are inevitable.

Workforce diversity basically refers to the activity of opening the job positions for applicants and inviting people from different culture, race, ethnicity, religion etc. Therefore making the organization diversed with people having different perspectives, skill set, work ethic, and technical know how.

The concept has received a lot of attention in the recent scenario due to its growing significance of improving the performance and efficiency of business organization through attracting top takents from other countries.

Workforce diversity in the businessess has created a influx of innovation and creativity which has raised its performance standards and technical efficiency.

Consequences :

Therefore if the business organization ignores or prevents the work force diversity in its organisational culture it can have various consequences , some of which are explained below :

Workplace diversity helps curb competition therefore ignoring it will result in lacking behind and not being able to cope up with intense competition.

The inability to change with the changes taking place in dynamic environment and inability to adopt to the latest trends due to practicing of traditional methods and techniques which could have otherwise be updated through innovation and technical know how brought by diversified workforce.

The lack of innovation in its methods and techniques thus increasing the risk of Obsoletion. Therefore if workforce diversity is not addressed by the organizations it will result in inefficiency and Underperformance.

Recommendation for desirable state affairs :

As workforce diversity is introduced it needs to be efficiently managed also to prevent the differences in culture and perspectives in interfering with the collaboration and main goal of the organization. Workforce diversity moreover his to develop healthy competition inside the business where each employee both native as well as non native will be trying to push efforts for attaining high targets and proving them to be better than others which ultimately will help organization grow and progress.

If no action is taken towards workforce diversity and its management then the organization will fail to adopt to the latest trends and will not be able to introduce the technological advancements taking place in the environment because it is the workforce diversity which brings in the organization the technical know how and innovation.

The two important steps that can be taken to produce desirable result after introducing the work force diversity should be :

Ensuring that the differences in culture and backgrounds are adjusted in the working environment to make diversed staff accomodate very well...

Managing the diversified workforce through providing training and organising performance management so as to guide them for working efficiently and producing desired results,
