The appropriate control chart for this process will be S chart.

As per standard formula,

Upper Control Limit for S chart = UCLs = m + A3*S

Where ,

Population mean = m = 120

A3 = 0.789 ( for Sample size = n = 16 as derived from standard table for Xbar and r chart )

S = Standard deviation of process = 14.84

Therefore ,

UCLs = 120 + 0.789 x 14.84 = 120 + 11.71 = 131.71

THREE SIGMA UPPER CONTROL LIMIT OF THE PROCESS = 131.71
