a) Tollens reagent (silver nitrite + ammonium hydroxide) reacts with Acetylene derivative that is with 3-phenylpropyne to form silver acetylide which precipitateout of solution while there will be no reaction with 1-phenylpropyne.

b) Phenols reacts with ferric chloride to formed coloured complex while there will not be any reaction with ferric chloride

c) 1,2 dibromo-1 phenylethane on reaction with sodium hydroxide would result alkyne while there will no reaction for 1,2 dibromo, 2,5 dimethyle benzene
