For each of the conditions given below find the outdoor temperature that gives you condensation on the inside
window surface. Part (a) is the reference case by which all of the other cases can be compared. In each case, the
indoor temperature and humidity is fixed at 70°F and 50% respectively, which as you know from a chart gives you a
dew point temperature of about 51°F. .
a. Inside and outside convective heat transfer is 1.46 and 6 Btu/hr.ft 2 °F respectively, while the thermal
resistance for single pane 1/8 inch thick glass is 1.0 hr.ft 2 ° F/Btu,. ( use thermal resistance networks )

b.Same as Part (a) except the outside wind velocity increases so that h=12 Btu/ hr.ft 2 .
