Explain two ways in which microbiologists have overcome the difficulty of viewing microbes in wet preparations
First we have to find two ways in which microbiologists have overcome the difficulty of viewing microbes in wet preparations are a bacteria which has the intrinsic ability of movement in the surrounding medium in which it remains suspended is a motile bacteria.
A bacteria which does not have the intrinsic ability of movement in the surrounding medium in which it remains suspended is a non-motile bacteria.
In wet mount though the shape and size of bacteria can be observed motility may be hampered as the suspension is pressed between the slide and the cover slip.
Motility test is performed for clear observation of the motility of bacteria, besides their shape and size.
The hanging drop is observed under a microscope using oil immersion objective its cells can be seen to have erratic movement in the surrounding medium.
If it is non motile its cells remain static in the medium without any movement or may show brownian movement resulting from the bombardment by the water molecules in the medium.

5. What impact(s) do increased CO2 emissions have on Ocean life? 6. What are two ways that microbes impact the Carbon cycle? What's one way that microbial activity can offset human impact on the Carbon cycle? 7. What is the mechanism of inhibition of Nitrogenase function? What are 3 ways microbes avoid this problem?
Which approach would be considered good ways way to overcome buyers' concerns that your price is too high? choose all that apply a. Offer a trial b. Reduce the price until it's no longer considered too high c. Explain why their current supplier is considered disreputable d. Create a detailed analysis that quantifies your product's value e. Explain that if the customer has to ask the price, they probably can't afford your solution f. Present a demo that shows your...
3. What are two ways by which bacteria can overcome (or resist) the effects of antibiotics (i.e., what are 2 things bacteria can do to antibiotics so they do NOT work against bactertia)? Which form of DNA is most likely to contain genes that specify antibiotic resistance? 4. Some bacteria can stop the activation of complement. Suggest how this might be accomplished (ie- suggest 2 or 3 things bacteria might do to complement to stop or prevent complement activation). Describe...
Explain some of the ways in which mass extinctions of organisms may have occurred.
Briefly explain the meaning of moral hazard, and identify two ways in which an insurer can design a policy covering theft to reduce the risk of moral hazard
Describe two ways in which transgenic animals are used in medicine today. Explain how the following transgenic crops are different from the traditional crops: Bt Corn: Flavor Savor Tomato:
Explain two ways in which an air bag changes the force on your body to make you safer during a collision. How can you use Newton's force laws to explain the way a rocket works? Be as specific as you can. How would you describe the way a rocket works using the concept of momentum?
Two different membrane preparations have been created from the plasma membrane of red blood cells (1) right-side-out membrane vesicles (ROVs) and (2) insideout membrane vesicles IOVs) in which the exoplasmic leaflet faces the interior of the vesicles. a. Annexin V is a protein that binds to phosphatidylserine, one of the phospholipids present in cell membranes. Fluorescently labeled annexin V is mixed with each vesicle preparation. The vesicles are washed to remove unbound annexin V and then examined by fluorescence microscopy....
Explain the different ways in which HR objectives can be delivered in organisations. Guidance The first part of this question requires you to describe three key objectives that your HR function has main responsibility for. For example, if an objective of the organisation is to improve absence rates, you would provide an overview of HR’s role in the success of this. You also need consider how these have evolved/are evolving in the organisation. The second part of this question is...
Questions SECTION A (Answer one question from this section) 1. Explain the ways in which a contract can be discharged. 2. Provide an analysis of the ways in which terms can be implied into contracts. 3. Oliver sees an advert on the Management Department notice board. It reads: "1-year old motorbike for sale. Incredibly good condition. Low mileage. £2,000 or nearest offer. Contact Elizabeth on number provided below." Oliver contacts Elizabeth and arranges a viewing. When Oliver examines the motorbike,...
