Nitric oxide is produced by endothelial cell that line blood vessels. It increase intracellular cyclic GMP and causes vasodilattation.

It bind heme moeity of cytosolic guanylate cyclase and activate guanylate cyclase and increase intracellular cyclic GMP.and thus causes vasodilattation
