Stress = Load/Area

Strain = change in length / original length.

Young 's modulus, E= stress/strain.

Yield stress= yield load/ initial cross sectional area

Rupture stress = rupture load/ initial cross sectional area.

Stress @ failure = rupture load/final cross sectional area.

Ductility = (dinal length -original length )/original length ) x 100

% reduction in area = ((initial c/s area - final c/s area)/ initial c/s area) x 100.

For stress stain graph plot the corresponding values along y and x axis respectively. (Stress strain values that are tabulated ).
