  • The stakeholders of the organization such as the CDC will be both internal stakeholders and external stakeholders. The internal stakeholders of the organization would be the employees, management who are working for the organization. The external stakeholders are the people who are directly benefiting from the services of the CDC, along with the people who have invested in the organization's development as a whole, the suppliers to the organization and other members who are related to the organization from the business point of view.
    Thus, these are the major stakeholders of the CDC organization and the communication plan development has to be carried out keeping in mind both the external and internal stakeholders of the organization.
  • The information that the stakeholders need vary from the type of stakeholders. The internal stakeholders will be interested in getting information about the business operations within the organization. The performance of the organization, the daily activities, the state of the organization culture are some of the types of data that will be desired by the internal stakeholders because such data is directly related to their day to day jobs.

    For external stakeholders such as customers, it is necessary to pass on the information stating the benefits of using the services provided by the CDC. This makes more awareness among the people and hence is desirable. The other stakeholders such as suppliers would want to know the demand from the organization for their supplies. The board of directors would want to see the information on the state of business of the organization.

    This is how different stakeholders would require different information from communication.
  • Not all the stakeholders require the same information as explained in the above solution. All the different stakeholders have different objectives and hence to satisfy these different objectives all the stakeholders need different information from the organization to help them make their informed decision based on the marketing communication from the organization.

Also, this way of communication is cheap and cost-effective. We can reach our customers in this manner.

    For communication to internal stakeholders, an internal network is essential which will help the people within the organization connect to anyone they want within eh organization using the internal communication network.
    The communication strategy should be aligned with the vision and mission of the organization and should display that it is developed to strengthen the organization's strategy and performance.
