Answer #1

Throughout history, there has been issues that the minorities faced such as, slavery, segregation, civil rights and racial discrimination which was in one way supported by the legislative and executive branches. It was judiciary branch that helped the other two ranches, especially, the legislative branch realize the importance of equality and equal opportunities for the minorities by quoting from the constitution. Thus, the US Supreme Court has a major role in establishing equality and equal treatment which helped the government introduce affirmative actions.
