An instructor in Abnormal Psychology wanted to determine whether there was a significant difference in final examination scores between students who received practical experience as an add on to the Abnormal Psychology course and students who did not. To this end, the instructor compared the final examination scores for a previous class having no practical experience (N = 15) with the final examination scores for students in a course with the added practical experience (N = 15). The same examination was given to both groups with a maximum score of 150.   What is the proper statistical test to use with this research problem?
