prepare a detailed report describing a possible, research-based, scenario for the future of genetic Enginerring. talk about 4 positive and negative effects each based on the follow factor: Environment. 1000 words .
Genetic engineering has been used for several years in medicine,
agriculture and industry, but is entering a new phase as the
available techniques become much more precise. The cost of
sequencing and synthesizing genes is decreasing at an alarming
rate. The time is not far when entrepreneurs will be able to make
biotech startups with little funding the same way many tech
companies did.
Organs will be cloned from your tissues and grown in either a
factory or perhaps inside pigs bloated full of a backup of all your
organs in a farm for harvest in case of emergencies.Gene therapy
will be developing and allow us to safely cure genetic diseases.
With this knowledge and the cheap access to these technologies,
some of us will decide to extend the utility of technology designed
for curing colorblindness to adding a fourth photo receptor to
increase human capabilities beyond their original state.Doors
for gene doping in sports is going to be no more a
dream. Some technological advancements will allow us
to design our pet the same way as we can
customize a car.Babies would be debugged of genetic diseases prior
to birth. DNA has useful properties for computation in itself. We
may be able to create living, multiplying, interconnected
computers. Microbes are essentially tiny machines as well as tiny
chemical refineries. We will combine this ability with computers to
make new materials and chemicals for a variety of purposes. This
will allow the creation of nano machines along with new weapons
that will have the power to kill individual targets or even ethnic
groups and open the gateway for bio terrorism. The fusion of
computer facilitated bio engineering will usher in the creation of
new organisms with novel traits that never existed earlier and call
is technical hybrid.
But we need to take care that genetic engineering should not
take away the sole existence of human identity. This is so because
the overdose of anything is not great. So we need to manage the
pace of development before it harms us to the extend that we may
never return to normal.

Write a paper describing your research and findings about the medications being taken and the results of the interview. Report your findings in a 3-5 page written paper. In your paper include the reason for each medication, the drug classification, the route of administration, the dose, and possible side effects/adverse reactions.

Research Scenario: The following scenario is based loosely on an actual study conducted in 2013 by Ahn, Kim, and Aggarwal– please note that methods and data have been modified for educational purposes. Do you turn off the light when you leave the room? South Korean researchers wondered how they could increase the number of people who do by use of posters (Ahn, Kim, & Aggarwal, 2013). In one, an image of a light bulb was anthropomorphized by giving it eyes,...
REPORT BOOK QUESTIONS These questions from the Report Book are included in the manual to help you prepare for the Experiment and the Computer Preliminary Exercises. a) Write an equation describing the reaction of HCI with water. b) Hence, write an equation describing the reaction between an aqueous solution of ammonia and hydrochloric acid. Indicate the acid base conjugate pairs. Calculate the energy absorbed by the calorimeter alone, calorimeter Refer to Laboratory Manual, Page Calculate the energy absorbed by the...
Evidence-Based Medicine: Research Project and Presentation In this project, you will complete a clinical case study analysis, research review, and oral presentation about the pathophysiology of your chosen topic. In this project, you will work in groups of two to four people. You will present as a group and receive a participation/collaboration grade. You will also be graded based on your individual contribution to the content. Your presentations should follow a case study SBAR format (situation, background, assessment, and recommendations)....

ASSIGNMENT 1: COMPANY REPORT( EMIRATES NBD) A. Introduction For this assignment, you will research the four topics below. You will then write a report on your findings using the report structure and format detailed in Parts B and C. You are strongly encouraged to talk to your industry supervisor and colleagues from your company, and or do additional research, to gather more information. 1....
In this scenario, you are a manager of a work team in the U.S. Your team is visiting a client in another country where they treat women in the workplace differently. The purpose of your visit is to deliver a presentation of findings (results) from a research project that your team performed, for a fee, for the client. Your team is composed of three employees—two men and one woman. Each team member worked on the research project. When your team...
ELISA-HIV Testing DATA SHEET RESULTS For each of the following, report the color and indicate whether the result was positive or negative. Neg.control: negative Donorl: negative Pos. control: positive Donor 2: positive Based on your results, which donor has been exposed to HIV? Donor 2 QUESTIONS 1 Describe the purpose of the two controls. The purpose of the two controls is to show what the positive and negative would look like, and it also helps determine it the experiment was...
Research is an integral part of all professional fields. Designing a research study can be a complicated task that can be simplified if the appropriate techniques can be identified. This assignment will give you the opportunity to design an experiment, including finding relevant prior research, determining the appropriate sample, data analysis techniques, and discuss the results you hope to see. Working from the topic chosen earlier in the topic selection, you will be designing your own statistical study. In a...
Problem Set 2: Two-way mixed design ANOVA (8 pts) Research Scenario: A researcher is attempting to determine the effects of age and sleep deprivation on a reaction time task. Participants (5 “old”; 5 “young”) in an experiment are given a computerized search task. They search a computer screen of various characters and attempt to find a particular character on each trial. When they find the designated character, they press a button to stop a timer. Their reaction time (in ms)...
