Upon increasing the intensity, and hence loudness of a tone with low pitch , the perceived pitch will go down. This is psychoacoustic effect.

This is because at these frequencies, the perception of pitch also depends on sound pressure differences. Do note that this is because pitch is not the same as frequency, rather is its a quantification of human judgement of relative frequency. Since higher intensity would mean higher sound pressure levels, the higher sound pressure would 'reinforce' the judgement of being a low pitch, and the listener would perceive it to be lower.
