Some non-profits are forced to choose between government funding and policies. Should a non-profit change their policies in order to qualify for government grants? Why?

Ans. It is a very simple logic , if a Non Profit Organisation is willing to get Government grants , Then they ought to qualify the criteria set by the government. If Non Profits don't want to do the same , then can go for crowd funding or various other methods of funding. But I certainly believe that Non Profit Organisation should not change their policies just to get Government Grant. Slight alteration can be fine , but completely changing the policies just for the sake of government Grant is not feasible. An Organisation runs on its principles and changing them for a meagre Grant is not advisable at all.
