Answer #1

Ethical dilemmas are circumstances in which you have to determine if you and your organization, but they are immoral, or even illegal, should take action.

The first approach is the utilitarian approach, guided by the greatest benefit for the greatest number of people. The safety training for drivers in certain emerging economies is an example of UPS ' policy in this regard. The stakeholders were concerned that a traffic nightmarish was created, which is a huge influx of first time drivers and not only more commercial cars on the street.

The second approach is the individual approach, which leads to the best long-term interest of the client, which essentially is of interest to everybody. For example, UPS measures their strengths so that their company's longevity is increased.

The third approach is the approach to moral rights, which is guided by respect for human rights. UPS has supported multi-company initiatives, including humanitarian logistics and relief programs. In the event of a disaster, we joined the United Nations World Food Program to help those who are still hungry. In addition, UPS has also been partnering with certain clients to ensure the delivery of their donated goods worldwide.

The fourth approach is the approach of justice which is guided by respect for the fairness and equity standard. For example, UPS is unwilling to join the UN World Program and cooperate with TNT and Agility competitors.
