1) Recievers usuallylly handle products in large units, whereas order pickers handle them in small unit's. Also it is known order picking is much more labor intensive and resistant to automation.

2) a. The pick list contains the same information as the customer order, but reorganized to make it easier to retrieve the requested items.

b. A pick-line is an entry in the pick list giving a location from which to extract a SKU and the quantity to be extracted.

c. Label Picking is a method of dispatching goods by printing a single label for every carton leaving the warehouse or warehouse zone whereas The voice picking system allows warehouse staff to concentrate on the picking process without looking at paperwork and having both hands free to perform the pick.
