Answer #1

Zoning laws are laws that dictate, which land or area is meant for what purposes. In a city there are various zoning done by the local government. Now the disadvantages of zoning are as follows-

1. Zoning requires that all property owners living in a specific area give away some of their property freedoms for the common good.

2. Zoning discourages certain developments in certain locations which are not marked for it

3. The cost of building new structures can be increased due to zoning

4.Zoning often hampers the development potential of previously existing land uses that are not following the zoning standards.

5. Lastly, zoning leads to formation of specific industrial areas and specific residential areas. Now the area marked for industry is terribly polluted, because it only contains the industries. Had it not been zoned, industries would've been scattered, which would dilute the pollution level of any specific place and the plants might even absorb it.
