  1. What is the magnitude of the torque in Nm? Whole numbers only here. i j k mean the unit vectors in the x y and z direction respectively. Normally written with a cute little hat or ^ on top of them. Remember that torque = r X F.

    position vector = r = 3.29 i + 4.06 j + 5.47 k where r is in metres and

    applied force = F = 581 i + 721 j - 838 k where force is in newtons.

    Note that you are going to get a number in the range of between 2000 and 9000. I made it very big so the algebra is easier to do. Yes, it is a little silly, but this is just practise with cross products.
