volume of object = difference in volume

= 10.0 mL - 6.2 mL

= 3.8 mL

mass of object = 10.302 g

Now use:

density = mass / volume

= 10.302 g / 3.8 mL

= 2.71 g/mL

Answer: 2.7 g/mL
