1s22s22p63s23p2 [chemical symbol of silicon is Si]

So silicon (Si) has four valance electrons i.e. Si has maximum valancy of four. Now if three electrons are removed from a silicon atom, a cation will be formed with charge +3. Therefore, the symbol of the element will be Si​​​​​+3.
