According to Le Chatelier's if some changes are imposed on the reaction at equilibrium then reaction will move in the direction where it can nullify those changes.

Reaction quotient (Q) = [CO​​​​​2​] / [CO]

When we double amount of CO, Q decreases and becomes less than Kp. So reaction will move in forward direction due to which more solid Ni will be formed. So given statement is true.
