A person can see objects clearly only if they are between 22cm and 82cm away.

Assuming that the person is given glasses which sit 2cm from the eyes, what focal

length should the glasses be to see things far away clearly?

Hi!

The persons band of vision is from 22-82 cm. This means that this distance will allow him to see clearly. anything above 82 cms is considered far away for the person to see. So the correcting glasses must have a focal length larger than 82 cms to see things at a distance clearly. Since it is worn 2 cm from the eyes, thus the glasses must have a focal length greater than 84 cms to percieve the image clearly.
