Good sensitivity is more important that good specificity

Having good Positive Predictive Value is really all that matters

Whether sensitivity or specificity s more important depends on the prevalence of the disease and the use of the test. Having a good positive predictive value does not mean that the test is accurate because, even if all the people who tested positive will have the disease, many people who have the disease can have negative test result and their disease may go unidentified.
