Net Neutrality:

Net Neutrality, or just unhindered internet, is the rule that ISPs must treat all Internet interchanges similarly, and not segregate or charge diversely dependent on client, content, site, stage, application, equipments, source address, destination address, or type of communication.

With this, ISPs may not deliberately hinder, slow down, or charge money for a category or individual online content. Without Net Neutrality, ISPs may favour particular sorts of traffic, meter others, or conceivably block traffic from specific services, while charging consumers for different levels of service.

Social impact of Net Neutrality is huge. Over the years, movements like #MeToo or #OscarsSoWhite have been such gamechangers. Not only did this forced the certain authorities to rethink their decisions, they put a lot of people where they belong for the crimes they have committed and got away with. The current protest in Hong Kong is another such example of why Net Neutrality is a bare minimum requirement and an essential cog when it comes to freedom of expression. We shouldn't allow large organisations, parties or any country to control the means of communication in such a way that it hinders the very existence of "freedom" for the local people, who are likely the least powerful but most impacted in such cases.

Net neutrality has truly allowed people to share their ideas, rally together around them, and talk truth to control in a way that dodges customary media guardians.. These steps made by youngsters have characterized the digital age, however, with no net neutrality, that progress would be in peril.
