a) Calculate the bending stress for a load of 9099 lbf placed on a rectangular steel bar measuring 1 1/2 inch wide by 3/4 inch high. The distance between the supports is measured at 3 ½ ft.

b) Does the bending stress change if the bar is rotated 90° and the height is now the 1 1/2 inch dimension? Why?

**Please explain what you're doing because i'm very confused :)
