A healthy individual leads to a healthy family and thus a healthy society.

Yes, basic healthcare must be universally provided for citizens because of its positive external benefits associated with it and to be able to help those who cannot afford healthcare to get access to it and also be healthy and contribute to a healthy society, which goes on to become a healthy and productive labor force.
