Identify some contemporary and ethical issues Target is currently facing.

The major issues facing Target in today's world which are ethical in nature are:-

1) In order to support rapid external expansion, Target needs to find sources in the countries where expansion in planned. However these new suppliers needs to be aligned with the good practices that Target professes including healthy working conditions and minimum pay as per market. A failure to ensure such compliance by suppliers would be counter-productive for Target.

2) Another major issue is whether Target should indulge in predatory pricing to undercut existing players and gain market share. While such a practice could be justified from the business perspective, it would not be the most ethical or morally correct thing to do.

3) Another major issue is the use of customer information and the extent to which this information to be used to further business interests while at the same time protecting the interests of the customers and stakeholders.
