Some hotels believe that a uniformed, visible security guard makes guests feel safe and secure. Other hotels think that a visible security guard increases guests' concern and has a negative effect on their level of comfort. If this decision was up to you, would you choose to put your security guards in uniforms for guests to take notice or would you dress the security guards to blend in with the guests? What factors influence your decision?

Answer #1

Both hotels should take safety and security measures irrespective of their size or service level, as protection of the hotel's guests is regarded as a priority concern. In the hotel industry, training in personal protection and safety measures is important because they can boom or decrease the industry because they are directly proportional to one another. The hotels will also employ equipment to train their staff in any emergency to protect their customers.

Now in the days when visitors are more mindful of health, protection has become an integral part of hospitality. Hotels will also meet their pre-determined "GUEST SATISFACTION" goal through the efficient use of safety and security measures if guests feel at home. The hotel will also establish and sustain its relationship and also maintain healthy relationships with customers if they provide guests with world-class protection during their hotel stays.

It should also be remembered that certain hotels do have undercover officers and civil clothing. In the absence of a uniform, signature or inscription, when confronted by a hotel guest, the genuineness of the individual may be in question. This might create a problem, not just for the approaching guest of the hotel, but also for hotel administration. It also has a reactive rather than constructive condition.

Finally, if the hotel relocates its full health and safety programs for the most essential wellbeing and its staff, it will gain more income and boost the nation's economy. The principle of dissuasion and its defense target are defeated. Managers can then return to the psychology of practice, which is contrary to this reality.
