Why isn't the simplest SOP (or POS) expression for an output variable always best for minimizing the total number of gates?

so like these examples in some of cases the sop or pos forms are not better for minimization of gates. Actually these sop or pos form's are obtained after result of kmap. But these fails for reduction for some times.
