Answer #1

Following are Digital Circuits used in modern aircraft with the function and principle.

1) Buffer: This circuit used to transform electrical impedance from one circuit to another. It prevents the signal source from the current or the voltage of the load. It the one who used to send signal to multiple outputs. It do not affect the logical state of digital signal.

2) Inverters: These are used to complement the logical state of the input. It also gives extra current drive.

3) Optical Fibre: It is dielectric waveguide, used to transmits light on the principles of total internal reflection. These are advantageous over electric cables as it provides transmission for long distance with wide wavelength range.

4) Multivibrator: This is the circuit in which both the logical state are stable and so it is also known as bistable multivibrator. Its function is to increase speed of the circuit while making transition from one state to another.

task 1: In digital electronics and modern computer hardware, a flip-flop is sequential digital circuit used as a basic memory element. It has two stable states and can be used to store state information. One of its states represents '1' while the other represents '0'. The most common types of flip-flops are SR-flip-flop, JK-flip-flop, and D flip-flop. When used in a finite-state machine, the output and next state depend not only on its current input, but also on its current...

CASE 20 Enron: Not Accounting for the Future* INTRODUCTION Once upon a time, there was a gleaming office tower in Houston, Texas. In front of that gleaming tower was a giant "E" slowly revolving, flashing in the hot Texas sun. But in 2001, the Enron Corporation, which once ranked among the top Fortune 500 companies, would collapse under a mountain of debt that had been concealed through a complex scheme of off-balance-sheet partnerships. Forced to declare bankruptcy, the energy firm...
