I could use some help in a manufacturing course. I need to understand what some technical requirements would be for creating a pencil. A very basic wood pencil. Think about the yellow ones we were given in grade school.

Technical requirements to make a basic pencil are
Wooden block of which pencil will be cut
A saw to shear the block into pieces.
A Groover machine to make a groove for graphite
Graphite rod
A tipping machine to make the surface of pencil smooth.
