If a new bird species is found in dark forest habitats in the Amazon, the most likely way that males attract females would be - a. A loud mating song.

That's because in a dark habitat, the males would not be able to show off any of their physical features. They would have to put in extra effort to get the attention of the females which just a light tapping on a tree branch wouldn't do. Hence, singing loudly seems like the best option to be able to mate in a dark habitat.
