Answer #1

Probability Distribution is used for a simulation of uncertain inputs of a system.  Let us consider an example: In a Single Server where operations are performed in a queue and the simulation of a system requires the probability distribution in order to identify the user visit time and services being provided to the user. In this system model, the simulation occurs through probability distribution for producing uncertain inputs. Most of the systems that are used in today times use unpredictable sources. We use probability distribution and empirical distribution for the representation of unspecified source of a system for a given data. Then it is required to adopt a terminology for giving three activities and to find out the suitable distribution of data.

A proposed production system consists of five serial automatic workstations. The processing times at each workstation are constant: 11, 10, 11, 11, and 12 (all times given in this problem are in minutes). The part inter-arrival times are UNIF(13.0, 15.1). There is an unlimited buffer in front of all workstations, and we will assume that all transfer times are negligible or zero. The unique aspect of this system is that at Workstations 2 through 5 there is a chance that...

You know that Hadoop framework, thanks to MapReduce can allow users to process and extract various different type of information from very large text files. A system is BIBO (bounded-input, bounded-output) stable if every bounded input X(t) yields a bounded output y(t). A system is NOT BIBO stable if there exists any bounded input that results in an unbounded output. By "bounded", we mean that the magnitude of the signal is always less than some finite number. (The signal x(t)=sin(t) would be considered a bounded signal, but X(t)t would not be a bounded signal.) Signals that are infinite in time, but with a magnitude that...

For this program, you will be working with data from the NASA website which lists Near Earth Objects detected by the JPL Sentry System. You are given a text file listing the designation and impact probability (with Earth, generally within the next 100 years) of 585 Near Earth Objects. Your job will be to sort these objects by their impact probabilities. Input File Format The input file contains 585 records. Each record is on a separate line. Each line contains...
