Carry out the appropriate statistical test to test the claim that North Pole babies have a population mean weight µ greater than 3420 grams which is the mean for American newborn babies. Below are the null and alternative Hypothesis,
Null Hypothesis, H0: μ = 3420
Alternative Hypothesis, Ha: μ > 3420

Test statistic,
t = (xbar - mu)/(s/sqrt(n))
t = (3570 - 3420)/(498/sqrt(19))
t = 1.313

P-value Approach
P-value = 0.1028
As P-value >= 0.05, fail to reject null hypothesis.
