a) Using Mnemonics: Humans use Mnemonics to facilitate recall. For example, VIM- KELVIN can be used to recall the various multiple intelligences: Visual, Interpersonal, Musical, Kinesthetic, Existential, Logical, Verbal, Intrapersonal, and Naturalistic.

b) Using Stories: Vivid stories can be helpful to recall the events or major words pertaining to any process.

2. Describe two implications for UI designers related to recall vs. recognition.

a) Login Screen: It is an example of recall. A person has to recall his user name and password at the login screen.

b) Menu System: It is an example of the recognition. You can look at the various menu icons and recognize the ones that you use frequently.
