Should working women take more privileges than working men?

Yes Working women should get more privileges than men because the challenges women have long faced in balancing work and family is the most important thing as privilege comes in a countless forms including gender, wealth,safety,physical fitness,race etc. However the people who have those things are usually unaware of their power and influence. A working woman especially one who has the good fortune to to be able to balance her home and work enjoys the stimulation that a job or career provides but in many cases as motherhood confers upon a woman the responsibility of raising a child and this process also changes the way in which she is perceived in society and at her workplace, it can compel her to take more than available leave options and there job is also at risk.

The working mother is an institution in her own right , one who combines a successful career giving her financial security with an effective motherhood raising a child . It is important to understand that both these jobs are extremely demanding and to do justice to each without neglecting the other is a formidable task.

Therefore there is a need to support a working mother. It has been clear that the dominant role in childcare is recognized and that this responsibility affects the working life of women more than that of men.

So women should get compensated working hours, childcare facilities at the workplace etc .
