Net ionic equations for reactions only show the species that are changing (usually oxidation state).
Overall reaction:
HCl + NH​​​3 NH4Cl.

Oxidation state of H was +1 and is now part of the ammonium cation. NH​​​​​3 gained the H, it went from having a 0 state to a NH​​​​​4+ cation. Cl​​​​​- was -1 before and after. It did not change, it was merely a spectator ion.
Net ionic equation:
H+ (1+) + NH​​​​​3 (0) NH4+ (+1)
