You are a campaign advisor to Abraham Lincoln prior to the election of 1860, what do you tell Mr Lincoln to do to calm the fears of Southerners that Lincoln and his election would lead to the abolition of slavery in the South? Essentially act as a public relation adviser to Lincoln.

Slavery is undemocratic and inhumane practice. It must be stopped. President Lincoln must not give false assurance to southerners that such practice would continue to bloom over the long run.

There must be clarity in thought that these practice must discontinued. We must advise president to address the issues that might arise after abolition of slavery. Southerners should be acquainted that they would witness unprecedented growth and development once slavery is brought to end. Outcomes would be more inclusive and all encompassing. Thus president Lincoln must assure them they will continue to see positive economic and social development.
