The substrate used will be (S)-2-Amino-3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)propanoic acid, also called L-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine or L-dopa. Its molecular mass is 197.1879 g/mole. We will prepare a stock solution of 4 mg/mL. What molarity in mM does this correspond to? (1 pt) Assume you are going to preparing 5 cuvettes, each containing a total volume of 5 mL. The cuvettes will contain different amounts of the L-dopa stock solution: 0.1 mL, 0.15 mL, 0.2 mL, 0.25 and 0.3 mL. Calculate [S] and 1/[S] with [S] in mM for all cuvettes! (5 pts) In the lab, you will use the 1/[S] values for constructing the Lineweaver-Burk diagram.
