Discuss the variable and parameter (mean or proportion) you chose, and explain why you would use these to create an interval that captures the true value of the parameter of patients with 95% confidence.

Consider the following:

How would changing the confidence interval to 90% or 99% affect the study? Which of these values (90%, 95%, or 99%) would best suit the confidence level according to the type of study chosen?

My data I say that 95% in the ED I work we perform an ECG within 10 mins of a patient complaining of chest pain. I need a Confidence interval. My mean 9 mins the population is 30 patient

Answer #1

90% confidence interval for your data is between 5.898 and 12.102.

95% confidence interval for your data is between 5.266 and 12.734.

99% confidence interval for your data is between 3.968 and 14.032.

Option 1 or 2 Option 1: Think about a population mean that you may be interested in and propose a confidence interval problem for this parameter. Your data values should be approximately normal. For example, you may want to estimate the population mean number of times that adults go out for dinner each week. Your data could be that you spoke with seven people you know and found that they went out 2, 0, 1, 5, 0, 2, and 3...
