Answer #1

E.C.3.4.13.16 refers to the enzyme Aspartylphenylalanine dipeptidase. This enzyme is a dipeptide and it undergoes a process of intestinal hydrolysis. As hydrolysis occurs, these enzymes gets digested and absorbed in the intestine. This enzyme post its hydrolysis gets removed from the biological system of humans through excreta and urine.

The inhibitor of this particular enzyme are drugs like amastatin and bestatin. This alter the hydrolysis process of the enzyme.

The inhibitors are competitive in nature.
