1- The first Target market of GM is based on demographic factor which means Company segment market based on factors like age, gender,occupation,education,marital status etc. GM target high class customers with its luxury car brand Cadillac and customers with middle class with Chevrolet.

GM divide its market based on Geographic factors where Its luxury cars are mostly sold in US, UK while Mid range cars are sold in India like countries.

2- Yes, GM has growth opportunity in India where it can target millennials who does job and travle more in thier daily lives. GM can sell its mid range electric vehicles in India. Currently, Government is supporting those companies which offer high quality EV so that pollution can be reduced and fuel dependency can also be reduced so This is an opportunity for GM for growth in India.

3- GM focused on using Social media method to get connected with customers and make relationship with them because it is one of the cost effective method to reach worldwide audinece. G.M. has a team of about 20 people based in Detroit that manages its social media presence — including monitoring about 100 independent auto forums — and responds to inquiries and complaints seven days a week.
