a. Dividend growth rate = ( 2.28 / 1.98) (1/5) -1 = 2.86%

Dividend next year = 2.28 * (1+ 2.86%) = 2.34

Cost of common equity = (2.34 / 59.14) + 2.86% = 6.82%

b. CAPM = Risk free rate +Beta * Market premium

= 4.5% + 0.72 * 4.6%

=7.812%
